Accommodations of the University
HOUSING
If you
wish to live on campus, please note that our new “Philoxenia” Residence
Hall operates since September 2001. You may secure a room by paying in
advance a guarantee deposit of CY₤ 80 (ˆ 140). Occupancy of the room is
possible only after payment of the rental for the first four months. Monthly
rent per person varies depending on the type of room.
PHILOXENIA “A” BLOCK:
CY₤ 65 (ˆ
110) per person per month in a double room, plus CY₤ 20 (ˆ 35) per person
per month for utilities (electricity, heating, water). All rooms have en
suite bathroom.
PHILOXENIA “B” BLOCK (STUDIOS):
CY₤ 75 (ˆ 130) per person per
month in a double studio (CY₤ 65/ˆ 110 per person per month in a triple
studio), plus CY₤ 5 (ˆ 9) per person per month for water consumption.
Electricity is paid extra. All rooms have air condition and en suite
bathroom and kitchen.
Note: CY₤
80/ˆ 140 deposit is refunded only in the unlikely event of the College
failing to obtain a visa for the student. It is also refunded after the end
of the contract period and provided no money is due to the College for
damages and unpaid services.
