About University
The Donetsk State Medical University has greatly contributed to
the development of Ukraine's higher educational system, medical
science and health services.
More than 40,000 specialists including over 2,000 doctors from 89
foreign countries of Asia, Africa, Europe and America have graduated
from this glorious University since the year of its establishment (1930)
and become well-known researchers, health service organizers working in
Ukraine and overseas.
Nowadays the Donetsk State Medical University comprises three faculties
of General medicine, the Post-Graduate Department, the Nursing Faculty,
the Preparatory Faculty for foreign students and the Medical Lyceum. The
University supervises three Research Institutes as its structural
subdivisions.

sciences.. About 4,500 students including more than 600 foreign
students and over 70 clinical trainees study at the University |
