Donetsk State Medical University

Accommodations of the  University

The Medical University provides its students with accommodation and study facilities. The students' campus has 3 study buildings equipped with 37 computer classes and libraries, 9 hostels with reading halls and sports rooms, health center for preventive care, stadium, sports and health service complexes, summer camping at the Severskiy Donetsk river.
The Medical University provides its students with modern hostel accommodation and a large library. It organizes regular social events and various activities throughout the year. In addition, there are different societies within the University which give the students the chance to meet and get to know others with similar interests. The students are able to use numerous facilities for sport activities. The main pride of the Donetsk State Medical University is its teaching staff presented by 18 Academicians from various Academies of Medical Sciences, 140 Doctors of Sciences and 510 Candidates work at its 74 departments. Many of the renowned professors teaching at Donetsk State Medical University read lectures overseas. About 3,500 students including about 500 foreigners, over 50 clinical trainees, 60 post-graduates study at the University.
 

The cost of hostel accommodation accounts for  about $10 per month.
Alternatively students will find plenty of inexpensive flats available to rent locally (at individually agreed prices).

Obligatory medical insurance - $100 per year
