Admission requirements
Admission requirements and procedure
The University provides an invitation required for study entrance in
Ukraine. To obtain the invitation one should fill the
web form
The invitation being received, the following documents are to be
presented on arrival:
1. Notary certified copies of secondary education certificates
including the marks (grades) in all school subjects (secondary
education certificates allowing to achieve higher medical education in
accordance with the applicant's country laws).
2. AIDS test results.
3. Certificate of health, officially confirmed by the authorities of
the native country, dated not later than 2 (two) months before arrival
to Ukraine.
4. Birth certificate copy confirmed by the notary.
5. 6 photographs (60 x 40 mm).
6. Medical Insurance Policy to ensure urgent medical aid.
The tuition fees at the Donetsk State Medical University are as
follows:
. Preparatory Faculty (for foreign students) - $ 1000 (full
course);
. Principal medical faculties - $ 1,800 per year (tuition in the
Russian language);
. Principal medical faculties - $ 2,500 per year (tuition in the
English language);
. Specialized medical courses (on probation) - $ 300 a month;
. Post-Graduate Course - $ 2,500 per year.
The cost of hostel accommodation accounts for about $10 per month.
Alternatively students will find plenty of inexpensive flats available
to rent locally (at individually agreed prices).
Obligatory medical insurance - $100 per year.
